As part of the switch family, the M5-3C-86G smart light switch can be controlled remotely via the eWeLink app, scheduled, and paired with compatible local remote controllers. It features physical buttons for local operation, but can also be fully managed through a smartphone via the eWeLink app.

The M5 is available in multiple versions (1-gang, 2-gang, or 3-gang, in different formats), offering flexibility for various room types and usage scenarios. The Sonoff SwitchMan M5 (M5-3C-86G) is also Matter-compatible, meaning it works not only with the eWeLink app, but is also compatible with SmartThings and Apple HomeKit platforms.

Important Installation Note

For proper operation, both a phase wire and a neutral wire are required at the switch socket for Wi-Fi light switches.

Installation Tip

• The switch can be mounted with screws on all four sides into the wall box.
• Tip: If the socket box lacks screw holes, the Sonoff M5 switch can be secured using a Legrand mounting frame.
