The cable senses along its entire length, so it does not detect moisture at just a single point. It is ideal for protecting long wall sections, kitchens, bathrooms, mechanical rooms, laundry rooms, or even basements.
The cable is flexible, easy to lay, and reusable: after an alarm, simply dry it and it is ready for use again. It connects in a Plug&Play manner to the dedicated sensor port of the Shelly Flood Gen4 and requires no separate power supply. By linking multiple sections, the total monitored length can be extended up to 150 meters.
