The frient Water Leak Detector (FLSZB-110) is a Zigbee 3.0 battery-powered water leak sensor with a built-in 85 dB audible alarm and temperature sensor.

The contacts on the bottom of the device can detect even a small amount of water. When a leak is detected, the device activates a local audible alarm and reports the event to the connected Zigbee system. The smart home platform in use can then send a mobile notification or trigger an automation.

The sensor can be placed on the floor near a washing machine, dishwasher, boiler, sink, water pipe, or other equipment where leaks may occur. For hard-to-reach areas, an optional Water Leak Detector Probe with a 90 cm cable can be connected. In this setup, the main sensor can be mounted on the wall, while the separate sensing head is placed in the monitored area.

The device is powered by one replaceable CR123A lithium battery. According to the manufacturer, the expected battery life is approximately five years with normal reporting every five minutes.
