The Gledopto Matter Smart LED Controller (GL-C-218M) is a Matter-enabled 5-in-1 PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) LED controller designed for constant-voltage LED strips. The controller supports Single Color, CCT, RGB, RGBW, and RGBCCT LED strips and operates with a 12–24 V DC power supply.
The GL-C-218M features five PWM output channels with a maximum total output current of 20 A and a maximum of 15 A per channel. It is designed for common-anode LED strips, with output channels used to control the white, warm white, cool white, red, green, and blue channels according to the selected LED strip configuration.
The device uses the Matter protocol, allowing integration with Matter-compatible smart home ecosystems. According to the manufacturer's documentation, it can be used with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home when paired with a compatible Matter controller such as a HomePod, Amazon Echo, or Google Nest device.
The built-in physical button supports multiple functions: a short press turns the lighting on or off, a long press adjusts brightness, and repeated button presses allow cyclic colour switching. Holding the reset button for 5 seconds puts the controller into pairing mode.
